March is the perfect time to photograph Lofoten’s dramatic fjords, snow-covered peaks, and charming fishing villages under golden Arctic light. You’ll experience stunning sunrises and sunsets, dynamic coastal scenes, and—if conditions align—the mesmerizing Northern Lights dancing above rugged mountain backdrops.

Physical Difficulty
This tour is rated as easy, but the weather here is unpredictable and can be harsh. Each shoot location is located within two hours of our accommodation. There is no hiking, but we will be venturing onto arctic beaches which could be icy or uneven. We will be getting up for sunrises, and staying out late at night for the aurora if the weather looks promising. You should plan and dress accordingly to be able to stand outdoors for up to 3 hours at a time.

Itinerary & Information
This itinerary is incredibly flexible, and allows for adding in repeat destinations or changing things up depending on weather.
Day 1: Arrival. We will plan to take it easy and settle into our accommodation. We will plan for a sunset shoot.
Day 2-6: Various arctic beaches, fishing towns and mountain views. Each day will depend upon the weather. We will spend time processing images indoors in bad weather.
Day 7: Departure. We will drop you off at the airport or accommodation for return home.
