Capture majestic herons and other birds in action as they feast on herrings swimming up the fish ladder
This exciting new workshop is timed to coincide with the annual herring run up the Mystic River Herring ladder. Each June, the Black Crowned Night Herring congregate looking for their dinner. There are unique opportunities to capture these birds feasting, sitting and flying. Not to be outdone, a few Great Blue Herons join the feast along with some seagulls. Join us to learn how birding photography can be an action sport and learn some tips on how to capture crisp action photos.
