Immerse yourself in the landscape as you photograph one of New England’s most stunning locations in springtime, Acadia National Park

From the towering granite cliffs high above the Atlantic Ocean, to more tranquil woodland settings, Acadia has a lot to offer landscape photographers. This workshop will treat you to both iconic locations as well as some that are off the beaten path, during a magical time of year when lupine and other wildflowers make their appearance throughout the park.

  • Polarizer filter, ND filters, Graduated ND filters

  • Hiking shoes or boots

  • Rain gear

  • Hiking Poles

Physical Difficulty

Up to one mile walks on well maintained paved or gravel paths. Shorter walks on rocky or uneven ground. Most locations that have rocky and uneven ground in spots also offer flat options as well. Hiking boots are recommended. If you are unsteady on your feet hiking poles are helpful as well.

We will meet in the lobby of the Acadia Inn, 98 Eden Street Bar Harbor, Maine 04609, at 4pm on June 5th.

Accommodations

This workshop takes place from June 5-9. We have arranged for special pricing at the Acadia Inn in Bar Harbor at a rate of $160/night. Accommodations are not included in this workshop and you must book your own accommodations. Attendees are welcome to stay anywhere they like in the Bar Harbor area, but we will use Acadia Inn as our base. Room, meals and transportation are not included in the workshop and are to be organized on your own.
